On our first date, I asked Vicky what her values are (we’re intense like that).

‘Christmas,’ she said.

We bonded.

Christmas isn't just about presents. It's about the richness of family gatherings that stretch late into the night; the warmth of cultural rituals like setting fire to the Christmas pudding or gathering around the TV for the Queen’s Speech (God rest her soul); and the longing for home that tugs at our hearts, especially when we're far away.

These are the moments, big and small, that define who we are and bring the most joy to our lives.

When the world changed and everything locked down, we found ourselves drawn back to these core values more than ever.

Dana and Fabe was born from a shared passion for creating a life centered around family, traditions, and the joy of home. Our objects - typically 50-80 years old - have already lived many lives, storing everything from tangy yogurt, savored at breakfast, to the staple grains that starred in the evening meal, bearing witness to the ebb and flow of family life. Our pots are a testament to a time when meals were slow and intentional, with each ingredient telling a story of the land and the hands that cultivated it.

Today, our collections are more than old relics; they're heirlooms in the making and symbols of the enduring nature of tradition. Dana & Fabe is a tribute to the shared traditions that shape our lives and instill in us a sense of belonging.
