Originating from the Konya region of Anatolia, Turkey, these large ceramic pots were used for storing grains, water, oil, and other perishables.

In the kitchen, fully glazed pots were used for preparing and serving meals. The glaze made them easier to clean and less likely to absorb flavours and odours, making them ideal for a variety of dishes, especially those involving liquids or spices.

Today, this distinctive vessel is a one-of-a-kind decor piece. Its form and markings bear witness to the artisan's craft, blending tradition with contemporary style.

Well-loved and aged, the subtle imperfections on this handcrafted item enhances its story and value. Every mark reveals a bit of its unique history.

Bloom Safely: Caring for Your Unique Pot?

Please avoid submerging these pots in water as it may degrade the clay over time. For live flowers, we recommend placing a slim line vase inside and filling that with water to preserve both the blooms and the integrity of the pot.
